Brooklyn Nets fans have been clamoring for more Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, as their team slips into an 0-5 start and head coach Lionel Hollins opting to play the rookie at just over 15 minutes per game early on. As the best wing defender on one of the league's worst defensive teams, it would seem as if RHJ has a case to play more minutes.
Now, it seems as if Lionel Hollins agrees with giving the rookie more of an opportunity, as he announced on Friday night that he will start at shooting guard against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will start for the Nets tonight.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson grew up idolizing Kobe Bryant. Now he makes his first NBA start against him. Pretty cool.

Definitely cool to be playing against your idol, and even cooler now that he's 37 years old and on his last legs.
Hollis-Jefferson will be asked to contain Kobe as best he can, starting alongside Jarrett Jack, Joe Johnson, Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez.
The Lakers are also seeking their first win at 0-4 on the year.
