No Jarrett Jack ... Shane Larkin or Donald Sloan to start

Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

The Nets aren't saying who's starting at the point Wednesday vs. Derrick Rose and the Bulls, but it won't be Jarrett Jack.  He's been ruled out of the game with a tight hamstring, an injury that's kept him out of practice the last four days.

"I want us to be ready to play, I want us to be excited to play, I want us to be as ready as we can," Lionel Hollins said. "But, win or lose, it’s still just one game, and our season will continue."

Now, Hollins must choose between Shane Larkin and Donald Sloan, with the ex-Knick more likely to get the start. Both are likely to get big minutes.

In fact, Hollins hasn't named his starting line-up.  In addition to point guard, shooting guard remains a question mark with Wayne Ellington likely to have the edge over Bojan Bogdanovic.  Rod Boone profiles Ellington and how he's recovered from his father's murder in Philadelphia last November.
