We are two days into training camp, the Nets have their first injuries. The club announced Thursday night that Markel Brown has suffered a "moderate" left oblique strain and will be evaluated by team doctors in New York over the weekend.

Brown was not the only Net out of practice today, as Tim Bontemps notes:
Markel Brown (left oblique strain) & Willie Reed (right calf strain) both sat out today, while Sergey Karasev (recovery) was limited.
