Markel Brown has strained left oblique muscle, timetable TBD

We are two days into training camp, the Nets have their first injuries. The club announced Thursday night that Markel Brown has suffered a "moderate" left oblique strain and will be evaluated by team doctors in New York over the weekend.

Brown was not the only Net out of practice today, as Tim Bontemps notes:

Markel Brown (left oblique strain) & Willie Reed (right calf strain) both sat out today, while Sergey Karasev (recovery) was limited.

None of these injuries seem serious, at least not yet...
