LISTEN UP! Brooklyn's Disappointment Looms and, "We're not a good team" is Redundant

New, comments

Check out what the Nets' players had to say in our fourth feature of, "LISTEN UP!"

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

76ers at Nets, final score: Philadelphia 90, Brooklyn 88.

Brook Lopez: 18 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots in 28 minutes on 9-for-17 shooting.

Joe Johnson: 13 points, five rebounds and three assists on 4-for-14 shooting.

Mason Plumlee: 15 points, 15 rebounds and two steals on 5-for-9 shooting.

Jarrett Jack: 14 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and two steals but committed three turnovers.

This is perhaps the lowest point of the season for the Nets. They've lost four straight games -- with the last two coming from below .500 teams. They're 16-20 on the year and yet still sit in seventh place of the Eastern Conference. They head to Detroit to face the scorching hot Pistons on the second night of a back-to-back. Smells like trouble.
