Deron Williams practices, but still out vs. Hawks

New, comments

The Nets are 2-10 since Deron Williams went down with a broken rib on January 7 and although he participated in non-contact work at Tuesday's practice, he's already been ruled out of Wednesday game with the Hawks.  The Nets were in Philadelphia Tuesday, having left New York Monday night. They departed Philly for Atlanta after practice.

For D-Will and the Nets, it's more frustration. Williams fractured the cartilage portion of his 12th rib on January 4 and tried to play through the pain three days later, leaving the game minutes after he was inserted.  Williams has been mentioned in several trade rumors, but with immobilized, they are dormant at best.
