It was the worst moment in what may have been the worst loss of the season ... and it had nothing to do with the goings-on on-court. In the middle of the second quarter, Nets PR put out a tweet, which read, "Mirza Teletovic was taken to a local hospital for tests due to shortness of breath."
Although there was a stretcher and ambulance available, the 29-year-old Bosnian left the court on his own. After the game, he tweeted that he was okay.
I had a small problem, but now everything is ok... Thx all fans from Bosnia, Spain and USA for support— Mirza Teletovic (@Teletovic33) January 23, 2015
No specifics yet from Teletovic or the team on what caused the issue or whether he will need further attention. The Nets play next Saturday in Utah.
