According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Brooklyn Nets second-year big man Mason Plumlee will participate in the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk contest, which will take place at Barclays Center on February 14th.
Along with Plumlee, according to Yahoo!, will be Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Oladipo and rookie Zach LaVine. An impressive and highly, highly athletic group.
Plumlee was seen "practicing" dunks after his team's practice, but told ESPN that he wasn't doing it for the dunk contest, but he was "just having fun." As Yahoo! notes, Plumlee was a high-jumper in high school, once having jumper 6-8, and also a runner up in the McDonald's All-American dunk contest.
Again, the contest will take place in Barclays as part of the 2015 All-Star Game's split between Manhattan and Brooklyn. The game itself will take place on February 15th at Madison Square Garden.
