On his way out of Spain, Andray Blatche told T.J. Manotoc, a top Filipino sports writer, he was headed for Miami to negotiate a contract with the Heat.

Blatche and the Heat have been circling each other for about two weeks. Miami is looking for an offensive-minded center who could spell Chris Bosh and Blatche is looking for a job. Miami only has the vets minimum to offer Blatche.
His play for the Philippines at the FIBA World Cup --21.2 points and 13.8 rebounds in five games-- has reportedly helped his chances of a return to the NBA. The Nets have said they are not interested in resigning him. Blatche's poor conditioning and partying lifestyle didn't sit well with Jason Kidd or Billy King.
