It was another slow start by Team USA, as they held just a 3-point lead after one, but they found their stride, went on a 22-0 run, held a 40-point lead in the fourth and beat the Dominican Republic, 106-71.
USA has now locked down Group C and will automatically advance to the knockout round of 16.
For Team USA, Kenneth Faried once again put up a strong performance, scoring 16 points with 6 rebounds in just over 17 minuets. Anthony Davis added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks, while DeMarcus Cousins went for 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting in 12 minutes.
