With a new staff under Lionel Hollins assembled, it seemed that Roy Rogers' time with the Nets was done. Joe Wolf was announced at the new big man coach. Still, the team had Rogers, a Jason Kidd hire, on the payroll as he looked for work. He's now has found his next gig. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Rogers has agreed to join Randy Wittman's staff in Washington with the Wizards.

Rogers makes nearly $400,000 according to a league source. He has two years left on his deal. Assuming there is an offset clause in his contract, the Nets will have to pay the difference between what Wiz will pay him and the Nets owe him.
