In another efficient game, Bojan Bogdanovic leads Croatia to big win over Argentina

FIBA

After barely beating upstart Philippines --and Andray Blatche-- in their first game, Croatia came back Sunday and upset Argentina with Bojan Bogdanovic once again playing efficiently, hitting big shots down the stretch and playing an all around good game. Croatia is now 2-0 in Group B play.

Bogdanovic, who's now averaging 21 points a game, shot 6-of-11 overall, and 3-of-6 from deep, to go along with seven boards, two assists and a steal. After turning the ball over six times against Philippines, he had only one TO on Sunday. The 6'8" Nets rookie played 37 and a half minutes, after logging 39 in overtime Saturday. He is now shooting 51.7 percent overall and 50 percent from deep.

Croatia went ahead early, leading the Argentines by 11 in the first, but the blue-and-gold, led by Luis Scola, came back and took the lead early in the third. Croatia recovered and went into the fourth with a 12-point lead, but once again Argentina nibbled away at the lead but in the end, Croatia wouldn't let up. Bogdanovic scored four of the Croatians' last 15, including a nifty layup that gave his team breathing room. He also stole the ball at a crucial moment.

Croatia plays Senegal Monday in another 6:30 a.m. ET start.
