Sunday was Rookie Photo Shoot Day for the newest NBA players, and while taking copious amounts of pictures is cool and all, the coolest moment of the day was when the rooks challenged one another to what was an impromptu dunk contest.
It made for an interesting competition.
Several high flying rookies like Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, and Aaron Gordon threw down some nice dunks, but Markel Brown might have had two of the nicest ones of the day. Cory Jefferson didn't do so badly either. For the record, Brown's max vertical was measured at 43.5" at the Draft Combine; Johnson's 37.5." For the record as well: Blake Griffin's was 35.5."
