In Bosnia's first game of the EuroBasket qualifying round, Mirza Teletovic made an instant impact. The second year NBA pro exploded for a game high 25 points and grabbed six rebounds in Bosnia's victory over the British Wednesday, 80-67. "The King of Bosnia" hit three three-point shots during the game while leading the Bosnian team in scoring. All in 26 minutes.
The British had no way of stopping Teletovic without the likes of Luol Deng on the roster to defend him. You can watch some of his highlights here:
Looks like the forward has a lot of confidence on his national team. They are now 1-0 in the qualifying stages in a group consisting of Iceland and Great Britain. They're looking to lock up a place in the 2015 European competition.
Dan Clark, Great Britain's 6'11" power forward, top scoring for GB with 14 points along with nine rebounds. He played for the Nets this summer in Orlando.
