Mike Mazzeo poses the Nets off-season this way...
Nets trade: Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce, Shaun Livingston
Nets receive: Lionel Hollins, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jarrett Jack, Sergey Karasev
He might have added Marcus Thornton as well as two second round picks to the Nets' take, the compensation Brooklyn received from Milwaukee for Kidd. You might even add the draft picks the Nets bought on Draft Night. On the other side: add Andray Blatche as outbound.
That's one way of looking at it. We break it down a bit further...
Jason Kidd for two second rounders and Lionel Hollins.
Marcus Thornton for Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev.
Shaun Livingston for Bojan Bogdanovic
Cash considerations totaling $1.9 million for the rights to Markel Brown, Xavier Thames and Cory Jefferson
Paul Pierce and Andray Blatche for ??
The equation could change, of course, if the Nets sign a big man as a replacement for Blatche. So is it a good deal or bad?
