In a nice nod and recognition to his talent and development, Nets second-year big Mason Plumlee has been invited to work out with the USA Basketball team in Las Vegas, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Yes, Mason's brother Miles Plumlee will also be joining him in training with the team. It's also being reported that Tim Hardaway, Jr., will be joining the training team as well.
The Plumlee brothers both attended Duke University, which is notable since Mike Krzyzewski coaches the USA men's basketball team.
Again, it's a nice acknowledgment for Plumlee (well, both Plumlees) who proved to be among the top rookies in the NBA last season in making the All-Rookie first team this past summer.
