Jefferson is a skinny 6'9" power forward who averaged nearly 14 points per game and more than eight rebounds per game, working with Isaiah Austin. The 6'3" Thames led San Diego State to the NCAA tournament as a senior guard, averaging 17 points and three assists last season.
Neither prospect was slated to go in DraftExpress' final mock draft. The Nets worked out both Thames and Jefferson this week at their practice facility in New Jersey.
