NBA Draft: Nets to host pre-draft workouts this week

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Nets announced that they will be bringing in 13 prospects to workout for the team between Tuesday and Wednesday leading up to the NBA Draft on Thursday.

The prospects either have second round potential or could go undrafted. The Nets plan to acquire players following the draft to fill up the summer league roster and potentially a training camp invite. Only two of the players invited, Artem Klimenko and Johnny O'Bryant, are listed in DraftExpress' latest mock draft. Two others, James Michael McAdoo of North Carolina and  C.J. Fair of Syracuse, are listed in Chad Ford's ESPN mock.  Semaj Christon of Xavier has appeared in earlier mocks.  McAdoo was once seen as a lottery pick. Although he had a considerable jump in production from his freshman to sophomore seasons, he didn't improve from a statistical standpoint over the last two years. He's a distant cousin to Hall of Famer --and Heat assistant coach-- Bob McAdoo,

Billy King will speak to the media following the pre-draft workout on Wednesday to talk NBA Draft and the off-season.
