News broke Wednesday afternoon that former Nets reserve Tornike Shengelia has signed with Baskonia of Spain.
I can confirm @Eurohoopsnet report about Toko Shengelia to @Baskonia for the next three seasons. It is a done deal

Shengelia was traded from Brooklyn to Chicago in the Marquis Teague deal back in January after 36 appearances with the team in a year-and-a-half. Shengelia never found his spot in the rotation but had a high motor and became a fan favorite quickly. Shengelia played less than two minutes per game with the Bulls before being waived before the postseason.
Shengelia will be playing with former NBA forward, Andres Nocioni, as the club looks to win their first Spanish championship since 2010. Mirza Teletovic spent several years with Baskonia, and became captain of the team, before coming to the Nets in 2012.
