There's some brief injury-related news as we head into Friday night's Game 3 matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors. Starting guard Shaun Livingston is ill and did not participate in Friday's shootaround, but Jason Kidd said that he is optimistic about Livingston suiting up and playing.

Livingston has been a key piece in Kidd's two-point-guard system, one that really helped the Nets turn the corner when the calendar year turned to 2014.
