Lenn Robbins, who covers the Nets for BrooklynNets.com, sat down with head coach Jason Kidd to talk about all things everything. Really. They talked about everything.
Robbins asked Kidd some fun questions, asking about what movies he likes -- '300,' 'Gladiator' and 'Shooter' -- what kind of music he listens to -- R&B, rap and meditation music -- and what kind of food he likes most -- sushi and fish.
He also talks a lot of hoops with Robbins, noting the highs and lows of the season, the development of Mason Plumlee and the leadership from Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
Robbins also asked him a fun and curious question about Shaun Livingston, which had nothing to do with his 2007 injury or his 2013-14 run at the Most Improved Player award this year.
Q. If Livingston was running for president one day, would that surprise you?
A. Nope. Don’t take this the wrong way. He’s so old, but to be so young, to be so mature. Maybe that’s because of what he’s endured in his basketball career. It has made him grow up faster. Or, what we sometimes lose, his parents brought up a good boy.
How about it, Shaun? Livingston and Lorenzo, 2020? I would say 2016, but something tells me you'll be pretty busy over the next several years.
