The Brooklyn Nets announced that Kevin Garnett will not travel with the team to Boston and will miss his fourth consecutive game on Friday night when the Nets play the Celtics. He is still dealing with back spasms.
#Nets say Kevin Garnett (back spasms) will not make the trip to Boston and will miss his fourth straight game tomorrow night vs. #Celtics.

The Nets are 3-0 over their last three games without Garnett, including wins over the Chicago Bulls and the Memphis Grizzlies. It is assumed that Mason Plumlee will once again start at center for the Nets.
Again, Jason Kidd didn't sound all that concerned with Garnett's back spasms, saying that they're taking it "one day at a time." General Manager Billy King was on Sirius/XM NBA Radio Thursday morning, saying that they are "monitoring the situation."
