Marc Stein reports the Nets have worked out two D-Leaguers, Darius Johnson-Odom of the Armor and Jorge Gutierrez of the Canton Charge and expect to sign one of them to a 10-day contract by week's end.
@ESPNSteinLine: Brooklyn Nets, I'm told, planning another 10-day signing soon after working out Jorge Gutierrez and Darius Johnson-Odom this week
Of the two 6'3" 24-year-olds, Gutierrez is seen as the better passer; Johnson-Odom the better scorer. Gutierrez, who led Mexico to the FIBA Americas championships, was a late training camp cut by the Nets. DJO has led the Armor to a late season surge. He was a second round pick by the Lakers and played one season in LA, dividing his time between the Lakers and D-Fenders.
