Prior to Monday's game against the Bulls, Kidd told the media that Garnett is "feeling better" and that they are taking it day-to-day with him.
The Nets re-signed Jason Collins on Wednesday to a second 10-day contract, as expected. He will come off the bench behind Mason Plumlee and Andray Blatche while Garnett is out.
