Kevin Garnett (back spasms) will not play vs. Bulls

Jason Kidd announced that Kevin Garnett will not play tonight against the Chicago Bulls, due to back spasms. Garnett missed Saturday night's game against the Bucks because of his back, and because it was considered a "rest day" for him, where Kidd told the media that he wasn't that concerned with Garnett's back spasms.

He reiterated that point in his pre-game press conference, as he mentioned that Garnett is "feeling better today" and noted that they are going to take it "one day at a time" with him.

Mason Plumlee will start at center for the Nets against Joakim Noah and the Bulls.
