The Brooklyn Nets announced that Kevin Garnett will miss his 15th straight game due to back spasms and will not play on Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Garnett did not travel with the team on their recent three-game road trip, in which they went 1-2, going to overtime in all three of those games.
Also out for the Nets is Andrei Kirilenko, who will miss his third straight game with an ankle sprain.
Andrei Kirilenko is also out tonight. Third striaght missed game with a left ankle sprain.

This means, once again the Nets will be shorthanded up front. Mason Plumlee is expected to continue to start at center, while Andray Blatche will continue to see big minutes off the bench.
It does look, however, as if the Nets will get Marcus Thornton back tonight, to provide a little help off the bench.
Marcus Thornton told me he's going to give it a go tonight. Said he feels better. #Nets will get that added punch off the bench back.
