In the second quarter of Sunday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks, Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko left the game after tweaking his ankle. The team is calling it a mild left ankle sprain. X-rays were taken on his ankle, but luckily they came back negative. Still, he will would not return to the game.

After the game, Kirilenko was asked about the severity of the injury. "We'll see tomorrow. YOu know, it usually takes until the next day. We'll see how it reacts," he replied.
Brooklyn plays again on Monday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. There is no word on whether or not he'll be available for Monday's game.
