Jason Kidd announced after Friday night's win over the Boston Celtics that Kevin Garnett will not travel with the team on their upcoming 3-game road trip, which includes games against the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Hornets and Charlotte Bobcats.
Kevin Garnett will NOT make the road trip. They will keep him home and reevaluate him when they get back. #Nets

The Nets are 9-2 without Garnett in his most recent absence, with wins including a road victory against the Miami Heat and home wins against the Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Bobcats, to name a few.
Neither Jason Kidd nor Billy King had any real concern for Garnett's health beyond wanting him to heal completely for the stretch run and the playoffs. The development of Mason Plumlee has allowed for the Nets to be patient and take their time in returning Garnett to the basketball court.
