Kevin Garnett will miss the next three games, will be re-evaluated on Saturday

BROOKLYN - Jason Kidd announced that Kevin Garnett will miss "the rest of this wee" and will be "re-evaluated on Saturday." That means Garnett will miss Monday's game against the Suns, Wednesday against the Bobcats and Friday against the Celtics.

Kidd went on to say that there have been no "setbacks" regarding Garnett's back spasms. Garnett has been listed as day-to-day, and in missing Monday night's game that will be his 9th straight DNP.

The Nets will determine on Saturday whether or not Garnett will travel with the team for their upcoming roadtrip.

The Nets are 6-2 since Garnett went down with back spasms, with Mason Plumlee filling in at center. Kidd said before Monday's game that the team's motto has been "next guy up," before naming Plumlee, Andray Blatche, Andrei Kirilenko and Jason Collins as guys who have stepped up and filled in for Garnett.
