Fenerbahce playoff hopes remain alive after early Bogdanovic burst

Bojan Bogdanovic scored only nine points, but all of them came in the first quarter as Fener raced out to an early lead, then lost in in the middle quarters before finishing with a 13-1 run to win by a basket, 69-67.  Bogdanovic shot 4-of-10, but only 1-of-4 from three as his deep shooting woes continued. He is still only shooting 14.7 percent in the Round of 16, compared with 40.1 percent in the regular season.  His season average, once 18.1, is down to 13.7.

Bogdanovic's first quarter production included a three pointer, two dunks off fast-breaks and a layup. He returns to action this weekend in the Turkish League.  Meanwhile, the Nets other Euro-Stash on Fener, 6'10" power forward Ilkan Karaman, has yet to play this season. Once considered the "future of Turkish basketball," Karaman had double knee surgery last August. He was expected to return in late February.
