Nets out on Jordan Hill, but are looking elsewhere for a trade

David Aldridge of NBA.com is reporting that talks between the Lakers and Nets are falling apart and a deal may not get done before the 3 p.m deadline.

Nets may pass on Jordan Hill, per league source. Momentum has cooled significantly to get deal done.

Sean Deveney of Sporting News added to why the talks may have fallen apart.

Source on the status of Jordan Hill: "Mitch Kupchak upped the ante." Which means he could remain a member of the @Lakers.
