Nets out on Jordan Hill, but are looking elsewhere for a trade

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

David Aldridge of NBA.com is reporting that talks between the Lakers and Nets are falling apart and a deal may not get done before the 3 p.m deadline.

Sean Deveney of Sporting News added to why the talks may have fallen apart.

Peter Vecsey then confirmed what seemed likely.

Howard Beck explained it wasn't just about the Lakers' demands...

The Nets still seem to be active in the trading market by Vecsey saying they are looking elsewhere for help.

The deadline is in a little bit more than hour so we will find out if talks between the Lakers and Nets will start up again before it is too late.
