All-Star Weekend Schedule for Nets fans

Debby Wong-US PRESSWIRE

The Nets Joe Johnson and Mason Plumlee, along with the Armor's Adonis Thomas, have made the trip from the cold, barren northern United States to happening New Orleans, escaping the snows for All-Star Weekend. Plumlee even posed for a picture as he boarded a private jet bound for The Big Easy.

For Nets fans, there will be five events worth tuning into online and on the air. Here are the times to watch ... and where.

Friday, February 14:

9 p.m. - BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on TNT. Chris Webber and Grant Hill will coach combined teams of rookies and sophomores. Mason Plumlee, one of nine rookies chosen, will play for Team Webber, his brother Miles Plumlee for Team Hill. It's only the second time the two have faced off against each, the first coming earlier this year when the Nets played the Suns.

Saturday, February 15:

3 p.m. - NBA D-League All Star Game and Boost Mobile Dream Factory on NBA TV. Adonis Thomas of the Springfield Armor will participate in the three-point shooting contest. Thomas, the 6'7" Memphis product, is one of the top long range shooters in the D-League, hitting 46 percent from deep. The Armor wished him luck in this video Thursday.

5 p.m. - Google Hangout with the Plumlee Brothers, on NetsDaily. Dexter Henry will host a Google Hangout on with Mason Plumlee and his brother, Suns big man Miles Plumlee. You can ask questions of the two. The hangout page is all set.

8:30 p.m. - State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on TNT. Joe Johnson will make first appearance of the weekend in the three-point shooting contest. Although Johnson is not anywhere near the top of the three point shooting chart, he does have a habit of making three's under pressure.

Sunday, February 16:

8 p.m. - 63rd NBA All-Star Game on TNT. Joe Johnson will be playing in his seventh All-Star Game and his first as a Brooklyn Net. With Johnson's selection, the current Nets roster has 37 total appearances.
