Andrei Kirilenko out, Andray Blatche questionable going into Indy

Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE

Saturday night's Nets - Pacers game will be the first of the Adam Silver era, tipping off at 7 p.m., before the rest of the night's NBA offerings.  But the Nets will be without Andrei Kirilenko for the second straight game (bruised calf) and could be without Andray Blatche, who hurt his hip and was seen limping after the game.

The Nets would be left with limited front court resources to battle Roy Hibbert, David West, et al on the back half of a back-to-back.  The team didn't arrive in Indianapolis until 2:30, according to a tweet or two. And Jason Kidd would prefer to rest Kevin Garnett in situations like this.  KG played only 12 minutes vs. the Thunder, didn't score for the first time since 1996 and grabbed just one board.  If Blatche is out or limited, expect Mason Plumlee and Reggie Evans to see more minutes.

The Nets won't see the Pacers' newest big man, Andrew Bynum, signed Saturday morning. Bynum isn't even in Indiana and isn't like to play significant minutes until after the All Star Break.
