Joe Johnson sat out his first game of the season Monday night in Brooklyn for the Nets' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with what was reported as the flu. Now, it seems Johnson will miss his second consecutive game with the illness, per Lenn Robbins.

The Nets official Twitter later confirmed Robbins' report, also confirming that Andrei Kirilenko and Brook Lopez will miss this game as well. Mirza Teletovic will travel with the team but he is a questionable at the moment.
Johnson, Lopez & Kirilenko are listed as OUT & will not travel to Chicago. Teletovic will make the trip and is listed as questionable. #Nets

This could be another crippling blow for the Nets, who are going to be without Brook Lopez for the second consecutive game as well, and the team is in dire need of a victory. Alan Anderson started in place of Johnson and actually played pretty well in spot minutes, defending LeBron James pretty well—all things considered.
Johnson has been averaging just under 16 points per game for the Nets this season. Brooklyn takes on Chicago Wednesday night at 8 PM Eastern Time.
