Cory Jefferson slip, slip, slipping away

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, with the Nets hopes slip, slip, slipping away, Cory Jefferson, who has yet to hit a three pointer this season, launched one from just outside the arc. It fell well short of the basket, a fitting symbol of the Nets second half ineptitude. The Bulls crowd reacted as expected.

After the game, Jefferson tried to explain what happened.

Many fans and players as well offered their comments. John Henson of the Bucks probably had the best.

But a fan suggested another approach.

Jefferson later had a nice breakaway dunk.
