Joe Johnson not backing down; Lionel Hollins says it's one man's opinion

New, comments

Everyone had their say Wednesday morning at practice about Joe Johnson's "selfish" comments -- Lionel Hollins, Deron Williams, Kevin Garnett and Johnson himself.  Joe wasn't backing down, Hollins said it means "nothing," D-Will admitted that sometimes the team has been selfish and KG implied when someone like Johnson speaks, it's worth paying attention.

Here are the beat writers' tweets from Phoenix, where everyone admits the tale will be told tonight.

Mirza Teletovic, speaking with Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts from Phoenix, said he didn't agree with Johnson's comments but said, "It wasn't anything serious," and the team was in good spirits Wednesday morning at shootaround.  He said he believed Johnson was "definitely" trying to motivate the team as they begin a three-game road trip.   Of Bojan Bogdanovic, Teletovic said he's "adjusting unbelievably" to the NBA game due in part to his "huge basketball IQ."
