The Brooklyn Nets beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in their first tune-up, preseason game of the 2014-15 season, 111-94. It was expected that the Nets would be able to handle Maccabi, which they did, but coming out of the victory it was a great opportunity for them to get on the court together as a full, healthy squad.
After the game, the general feeling was that the team "looked good" and "felt good," as Joe Johnson and Deron Williams both noted. Coming off a season in which the Nets had to deal with multiple injuries to key players, "feeling good" is an important first step.
