The Nets, who are currently on a four-game win streak, play the Miami Heat at home on Friday and then head to Toronto on Saturday to take on the Atlantic Division-leading Raptors. Both key games, though the long-term health of Williams is the bigger concern than regular season games in early January.
Williams has received cortisone shots and palate rich plasma injections now in both of his ankles, but there doesn't seem to be long-term concerns, according to team doctor, Dr. Riley Williams III.
Also, as noted by Tim Bontemps, Williams is questionable to make the trip to London next week where the team will take on the Atlanta Hawks.
