The Brooklyn Nets have announced that Deron Williams is a game-time decision tonight when the team takes on the Atlanta Hawks.

The ankle in question is Williams' left, and as Williams told the media last week, he's continued to deal with the pain of an "undisclosed injury," though was not willing to share many details. He did play 38 minutes on Saturday against the Cavaliers, however.
Jason Kidd said Deron Williams contacted the medical staff because of pain in his left ankle and they wanted Deron to see the doctor.

According to Kidd, this is precautionary. But the doctors wanted to look at Williams because he felt sore.

And if D-Will can't play, will Tyshawn Taylor be recalled from the Armor ... who are headed to Reno for the D-League Showcase?
Reserve PG Tyshawn Taylor sent to D-League this morning. If Williams can't go will Taylor be recalled? Kidd says Nets haven't decided yet.

It's a tough time for Williams to be dealing with an injury, seeing as the Nets are starting to find a rhythm having won two straight, and play their next three games at home.
Ultimately, the long-term health of Williams is more important to this team, however, so you have to assume that if Williams' ankles aren't healthy enough, the team probably isn't going to push him to play.
