The Nets practiced Sunday but the big news was that Jason Kidd, who has gone tieless the last two games, both wins, has sworn off neckwear.

It's big news!

It's fashion statement!
Kidd will not wear a tie tomorrow. Struggling dad at work look lives on!— Reed Wallach (@ReedWallach) January 5, 2014
And it could get bigger!
Hey, Brett, GREAT idea. If winning streak continues you hold "burn your tie" night! Fans drop ties into giant caldron. Kidd lights it!— NetsDaily.com (@NetsDaily) January 5, 2014
It's yet another case of the Nets modeling themselves after the Spurs. Gregg Popovich has been going sans cravat for a couple of years. In fact, in the Nets last three games, the winning coach declined to wear a tie.(It didn't work for Mike Brown, who didn't wear a tie either. Then again, nothing seems to be working for Brown.)
