He's up, he's down and now he's back up again.
The Nets have recalled Toko Shengelia from the D-League's Springfield Armor. He will rejoin the club in Toronto for Saturday's game vs. the Raptors and presumably fly on to London for the Global Games.
Brooklyn could be short-handed vs. the Raps since so many of their starters played big minutes in the Nets double overtime win vs. the Heat.
In his most recent two-game stint with the Armor, Shengelia averaged 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.50 blocks in 25.0 minutes per game at the NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nevada. Shengelia has now appeared in four games (all starts) with the Armor this season and holds averages of 13.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.20 blocks in 27.3 minutes per game.
In 15 games this season with the Nets, Shengelia is averaging 1.4 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game.
