Kevin Garnett's frustration spilled over on New Year's Day. After a miserable night vs. archrival Tim Duncan and another blowout loss, KG told reporters he is out of rhythm, doesn't know where he fits in the Nets offense and announced, "I am not a loser."

I asked Jason Kidd if he is holding back Garnett's minutes to save him for the playoffs. Kidd said it's to get Garnett through the season.

In other news out of practice, which was held in San Antonio before depaturing for Oklahoma City, Andrei Kirilenko fully participated and Kidd said he'd likely get a few more minutes.
