Mirza Teletovic continued to shoot poorly (6-of-22, 3-of-10), but helped key a 13-4 run in the fourth that gained Bosnia its first win in FIBA Eurobasket, 76-70, over Montenegro. Teletovic is shooting less than 33 percent overall and from three but is the Bosnians' leading scorer and one of the top scorers in Eurobasket.
Teletovic scored five points and grabbed three rebounds in the fourth, as Bosnia went from a 61-49 deficit to the 76-70 final score. It was his first double-double. Teletovic clearly bested Magic big man Nikola Vucevic, who finished with six points and four rebounds. He also posterized Vucevic.
After three games, Teletovic leads Eurobasket in field goals attempted (18 per game); is second in minutes (36.0); third in two- and three-pointers attempted (11.3 and 6.7), all of it a function of how important he is to Bosnia's offense.
Great Britain, under assistant coach Joe Prunty, suffered its second straight defeat, this time to Belgium 76-71, while Mike Fratello, Ukraine's coach, boasts a perfect 3-0 record after defeating Germany, 88-82.
Bojan Bogdanovic plays Saturday vs. Poland.
