Mirza Teletovic, in his fifth game in six days, scored 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting Wednesday, missing all of his five three-pointers as Bosnia lost to Italy. Marco Belinelli led the Italians with 14. On Thursday, Bosnia will finish its "friendly" schedule with a game against Lithuania, whose roster includes NBA big men Linas Kleiza, recently amnestied by the Raptors, and Jonas Valanciunas who's still with Toronto.
Whether Teletovic is feeling fatigue or just had a bad game is, for Nets fans, irrelevant. In any event, the toughest part of his summer is ahead. The Nets' forward will have played 10 "friendly" games by Thursday night and if Bosnia does well, it will play another 11 games in FIBA Eurobasket which begins next Wednesday. That means playing every other day for more than two weeks. And if they do well, they won't finish up until September 22, eight days before Media Day in Brooklyn.
