Mirza Teletovic scored 21 points (16 in the second half) --his third straight 20-point game, but three contests in three days took a toll on Bosnia as they lost to Macedonia, 93-84 in the SuperCup tournament in Neu-Ulm Germany. After big wins over Germany and Greece, Bosnia was simply tired, Teletovic tweeted.
Too bad :( ... We're tired, but satisfied. Next stop Greece... @IMKINGZEKO #KosarkaskaReprezentacijaBiH #ILoveThisGame

Teletovic shot 7-of-19 overall, 5-of-12 from deep, grabbing seven rebounds and handing out two assists.
For the tournament, Teletovic averaged 24.7 points a game, clearly the high scorer, along with nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks in a little under 33 minutes. He.shot 50% overall, 57% from two, 47% from three. He has the green light to go deep, averaging better than 11 threes per game. Bosnia has one more "friendly" tournament left, vs. Lithuania, Greece and Italy in Athens later this week. Then it's on to Slovenia for the beginning of FIBA Eurobasket, starting September 4.
Meanwhile, in Turkey, Croatia finally broke out of its recent funk, beating Belgium by 16, but Bojan Bogdanovic scored only nine points, including 1-of-6 from deep. With Croatia 4-7 in "friendly" games, there's been a lot of griping by its fans, particularly after arch-rival Serbia beat them by 29.
The Serbian coach told the media after that game that Bogdanovic "is no less a talent" than Drazen Dalipagic, a member of the Basketball Hall of Famer from Mostar, where both Bogdanovic and Teletovic were born. But Mirko Novosel noted that Bogdanovic needed "proper preparations," a slap at Croatia's embattled coach. In the last three games, Bogdanovic has scored a total of 17 points. Croatia is done with "friendlies."
