Summer League Game 2 - Nets vs. Heat, 5 p.m

USA TODAY Sports

The Nets will face the team with the weakest roster in the Orlando Summer league Tuesday, the Miami Heat entry, as they try to get Jason Kidd his first "W."

Andre Drummond led the Pistons to a 76-67 win over the Nets Sunday, but the Nets should have an easier time with the Heat, who have one NBA roster player, Jarvis Varnardo, no first round picks and one second rounder, 6'7" swingman James Ennis out of Cal State, Long Beach. The Heat could muster only 59 points Sunday vs. the Jazz and lost by 10.

Varnado, who will be picking up his NBA ring soon, will be another challenge for Mason Plumlee. Like Drummond, he is strong, although not as skilled. Also on the Heat roster, Mick Kabongo, the Texas point guard who went undrafted two weeks ago.

It's uncertain if the Nets will use the same starting lineup. Other than Plumlee and their two roster players, Tyshawn Taylor and Toko Shengelia, the Nets started Jamelle Hagins and Matt Janning, before quickly switching to Damion James and David Lighty. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV at 5 p.m.
