Barclays Center top grossing arena in the U.S.

Alex Trautwig

Another good day for Nets et al, another bad day for the Knicks.

Over the last six months, Barclays Center topped ALL U.S. venues in gross ticket sales and finished second WORLDWIDE. Madison Square Garden finished second in the U.S. and fourth worldwide. Prudential Center finished fourth in the U.S., eighth worldwide.

Brett Yormark, who before the arena opened was constantly asked if he could compete with the Garden, had this to say: "We are proud to have become a destination venue that has been recognized globally in a short period of time."
