Beat writers offer opinions on Nets off-season deals

With so many beat writers in Orlando, the Nets official website asked them --and beats from the Celtics-- for their opinions on how the Nets off-season is going, specifically the Celtic trade and the dual vets minimum signings of Shaun Livingston and Andray Blatche.

In general, the comments from Howard Beck, Stefan Bondy, Tim Bontemps, Rod Boone and Andy Vasquez were positive about both moves. The Nets also spoke with Baxter Holmes and A. Sherrod Blakely who cover the Celtics about Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry. The two of them believe that with better minutes management, the three have more than enough left.
