Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE

The Nets summer league team is playing poorly. They shoot poorly. They defend poorly and they're 0-3.

Things could get worse.

On Thursday, they play the team with the best record --and the most NBA players-- in the Rockets, who are 3-0 with a 10-point average margin of victory. The Rockets include Terrence Jones, who's averaging 15.7 points a game as well as James Anderson, Patrick Beverley, Greg Smith, Tyler Honeycutt, and Tim Ohlbrecht, all of whom have played in the NBA. The Nets have four players with NBA experience: Tyshawn Taylor, Toko Shengelia, Damion James and Chris Wright.

The Nets are coming off a shellacking at the hands of the Jazz, who won despite not having Trey Burke. .Eric Hughes, one of the new assistant coaches with the Nets is expected to coach half the game. The game will be televised live on NBA TV.
