According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Nets have been given permission to speak with Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw.

It's no secret that the Nets were interested in speaking with Shaw, they were simply waiting for the Pacers to be ousted in the playoffs. The news here is that he is the top target, according to Woj. The Nets, however, will surely have other competition for Shaw's services, so while he may become the top target, they'll likely continue to do their due diligence and continue to "search."
