The Brooklyn Nets will host their final NBA Draft workout on Wednesday, June 26, at the PNY Center in New Jersey.
The headliner of the group will be Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng, who some have predicted as being the top target for the Nets in this Thursday's draft.
Here's the scouting report on Dieng, from DraftExpress:
Also working out for the Nets are Jio Fonton (PG, USC), Durand Scott (PG, Miami), Deshaun Thomas (SF, Ohio St.), Demetrius Conger (SF, St. Bonaventure) and AJ Matthews (C, Farmingdale St.). This is the second time the Nets will be lookin at Matthews, the 7-foot Brooklyn native. He attended the Nets group workout back in May.
Again, all eyes are expected to be on Dieng, who is projected to go in the 20-26 range, per most mock drafts, and would fill a need as a defensive big man who can step in right away and help this team.
